Historic Houses Members are allowed free entry on standard open days. HH members are not permitted free entry on event days. HH Members should present their membership cards on arrival at the ticket office to be validated.
We offer complimentary carers tickets to visitors who would not be able to visit the Castle without the assistance and support of a carer. This can be organised on arrival to the ticket office or in advance if you wish to pre-book your tickets. Please visit our accessibility page for information on organising a carers ticket in advance. You will also find further information on accessibility when visiting.
We regret that pushchairs are not permitted into the Castle itself. Pushchairs can be left at the Castle entrance where they can be collected following your visit to the Castle. All pushchairs are left at the owners risk.
Outside of our open days and events the Castle, Gardens and Grounds are closed to visitors.
