Set against the stunning backdrop of the Welland Valley, Rockingham Castle’s grounds promise breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. This autumn visitors can enjoy for a little longer, as we extend our Gardens opening throughout Tuesdays in October.
Delight in an array of colour as the vibrancy of summer blooms give way to dazzling autumnal hues throughout our Formal Gardens.
Get even closer to nature on a woodland walk through the Wild Garden and take in everything that this spectacular time of the year has to offer. This untamed part of our grounds is home to wealth of wildlife and offers the chance to witness this most magical of the seasons unfold. Whether you are looking for a moment of stillness and tranquillity, or a brisk wellness walk in the crisp autumn air, the Wild Garden is a must.
Refreshments, snacks, and sweet treats will be available from our coffee unit in the Castle Courtyard.
