We warmly invite you to experience a very special day in an English country garden. David Austin Rose Day at Rockingham Castle on 24th June 2026, offers the chance to spend time with fellow enthusiasts among roses in our stunning formal gardens.
Enjoy an exclusive talk by Senior Rose Consultants from David Austin® Roses. Discover the story behind the brand and their flowers – from their history and fragrance, to their cultivation and upkeep, including care and choosing companion plants. You will also learn all about our Partner Garden status and the ongoing collaboration between Rockingham Castle and David Austin® Roses. Discuss how our Rose Garden has already evolved and what to expect from the coming seasons. There will, of course, be the opportunity to get up close to the roses in full bloom and see the partnership in action.
In addition to your talk with Senior Rose Consultants from David Austin® Roses, you will experience a tour of the gardens, led by Garden Consultants Kate Toller and Deborah Barker. The tour will combine the evolution of the gardens over the centuries with practical hints and tips for planting, selecting soil, and designing. Discover the secrets behind the structure and colour of our borders and gain inspiration for your own garden.
The day will also include tea and coffee on arrival, a lavish two course lunch, and the opportunity to talk all things roses and gardens with likeminded attendees.
We can’t wait to welcome you to this relaxed and inspiring day – a real treat for anyone who loves roses and English country gardens!
Places are £70 per person.
